Never know who you'll meet

Post by Glenn »

Went to Houlihan's for a bite today and struck up a conversation with the guy next to me. Tells me he's from Michigan and here for Memorial Day weekend. I ask if he's going to see the air show, and he says "sort of... i'll be piloting the B17".

I nearly fell off the stool.

He's a very cool guy, Korea era veteran and at 80, still hitting on the waitress.

Neat!!

I would have asked for a test run!

They use Meadowbrook Parkway as a set up point and I love hearing the sonic booms as they cruise down to the beach as my house is in range. Still remember the first time I saw the air show, great experience. Rode my bicycle down and had a front row seat at Central Mall!! BOOOOOOM!!

:P
Keep working at it and it gets done!!
