Did someone here say they had a place where I can order the 12 point bolts and washers ? I have a torn CV boot on the bus and I want to replace the crappy Allen key type bolts.

Put in an order with BusDepot , wow this is a dirty job ! I have one side off and ready for the new boot, want to buy some brake cleaner so I can clean everything up and maybe a quick spray.

Rebuilding CVs is really filthy.
You have to take them apart and check the balls for wear and the cages for burn marks. Make sure you put in as much CV grease as it will take, until it oozes out.

Thanks, the cages and the balls look perfect, thankfully I noticed the boot was ripped on one of my routine inspections and it never had a chance to get dry.

Tom, can you take pics? One of my boots has a nice tear in it, I noticed it a few weeks ago. It will get fixed in the spring though.

Sure, what do you want picture of ? You souldnt drive the bus with a torn boot, you will spin the cv joint dry and then that will need to be replaced also.

I suspect I may have already. I noticed about two weeks ago after parking the bus even just for a day at work or even an overnight if I came out to it it would "stick" even after releasing the brake. If I gave it some gas, it would break loose.
Also have had some pulling to the right, so it's tough to say if it's just a brake issue or something more.
