The magic of paint!!
I heard that if you tap a screw into the lid of POR15 to pour out the paint it prevents the lid from getting sealed shut. Well I tried it on a new can and it doesn't work. The lid of the can is so soft that the screw doesn't descend around the threads but just creates a hole as wide as the screw and if you tip the can over the paint escapes. Even tried different size screws, hole just kept getting bigger.

Thanks Raj!! It looks ok from a distance, but the heater channels are still shot. hopefully this will keep some of the water out. I'm going to lay down some sound proofing and a cheap carpeting material from HD to cut down on some of the road noise and then that will be it. I used roofing tar all alnog the bottom to fill in the gaps between the metal and it doesn't look half bad either.
I still need a windshield and some door seals as well!

Last night i had a few minutes so i glued some 1/4 inch sound proofing/insulating wrap into the luggage compartment. I used #m Spray adhesive and so far it looks to be holding ok. Once of cover the car I'll cut some outdoor carpet to cover things up.
