levers on seat face the channel, not the tunnel.

pulled the seat from the loft seems they both have the levers on the right side of the seat, but the tracks welded to the floor both have the teeth on the right track

so i got the rusted mess off of the seat

put the slides on

Looks good, are you going to replace the tar board or install a different sound deadening product ?

i have a question if anyone knows. the car wont idle it did idle run when i removed it i see there is an idle air adjustment screw on the left side of the carb does anyone know what the starting point for this would be like 2 turns out or more mine was at 6 turns out i put it to 2 but it still wont idle think i might have a air leak at the intake? also my carb has 2 screws on the left a small one which i think is the idle air screw and a large one that i have no idea what it does

What carb are you running? The 34PICT3 has a solenoid on the left side that needs power or it won't idle.

i checked that solenoid its working properly, even took my new endoscope for smart phone and looked inside to see all was clear. i found a video on you tube by VW Darren that said to check the idle jet by the choke adjuster and sure enough it was plugged

so now shes idling on her own

installed a new air filter

and a new shifter
