Post by Tom »

So after 2 Advils and a number of IPA's from shoveling 4 inches of slush my back is finally feeling better, now we're looking at 2 feet of show. Aarg !

I have a flight to West Palm Wednesday at 6:00am.

Anyone wanna bet if it goes on time? Or ever?

Wasn't diBlasio around the last few years for the other "worst blizzards in the history of the city"?

The panic running rampant in parking lots and gas stations today was classic.

The line at the diesel pump was rediculous. All these people than can't afford a home fuel oil delivery filling trunk loads of fuel cans. The one day I need fuel for my car in two weeks. People are nuts. My flight leaves 7:10 am Wednesday we shall see

Only 5000 flights canceled in and out of the east coast! All roads on long island are to be closed to traffic at 11pm tonight and 12 other counties in NY. The weather people might have got this one Wright.

I had to call 3 taxi companies before I got one that would take my Wednesday morning reservation. The other guys said they have to get through tomorrow and can't guarantee drivers will show up Wednesday morning.

flying out to mexico thursday instead of a 3 hour direct flight to cancun we have a 9 hour total travel day with one hour and a half layover in mexico city. hotel was nice enought to extend our stay till monday instead of sunday however there are no flights out of cancun monday. so we lose a day and a half of our 4 day trip oh well.. good thing i built myself an underground cave for this storm. this has to be the most overhyped storm yet..

Wow, bummer. Have fun the time you have there. FYI, you need to wear pants and a collared shirt to dinner. No shorts.

My car door was frozen shut. I had to crawl through the passenger side to get in.

Only took 45 minutes longer than normal to get in.
