nice.
On the list is a lift.... just need to pull get fully set up before adding to the mess.

Im leaning towards a mid rise scissor... like this
http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas ... issor-Lift

I figured it would make dropping the VW engine cake walk. And swapping rims and tires a breeze. Also need to be able to lift a full size Pick up as needed ( brakes a tires swaps etc)

Thoughts?

This is all you need for a VW.

But if you're gonna lift the Tundra, you need a 2 post bolted to the floor. $$$$

Yes and no. I think the mid rise lifts are rated at 6k lbs, and the Tun weights 6k.

Two post lifts are the way to go. If its an asymmetrical which most of the better ones are you have to back a bug up to get the arms in the proper spaces to lift it. There's almost no spot I can't easily access on a bug with one. And mines rated to 12.5k lbs. little bit better than 6k. I paid $$$ up front for it. But I've made my money back and then some.
