How can we improve the site?

Whats the plan here

Postby ObnoxiousBlue » Wed Mar 17, 2021 4:42 pm

So, there's no doubt I fell out of the game. 2020 was a rough year, COVID aside, and not having a car to roll around in or shows to go to made the DVG less of a priority. Just curious, as the season seems to be trying to fire up, shows are trying to push forward and I think - if they can - we're soon to see a banner year for shows as so many of us have been trapped and unable to do much.
That brings me back to the DVG... Is there anything here to salvage? I'm not looking at shows, and events - heck, even the Duck seems to have met its fate since they won't allow us 2 group sites. But is the site still a go-to for even the nuclear group we once had?
Let me know, because if there is still something here, I'll get some simple updates here so we're not looking so long in the tooth.
Hope every one is well.

I hope to actually drive my car... maybe. It hasn't been on the road since August 2019 and I only put 84 miles on since 2016.

It might be time....

I still come here every day to see if anything is happening. Posts have been few, but we're just a small group.
This is the DVG forum. We do not tell people how to post here. Go play in the kiddie pool if you don't like it.

March Madness 21 will be this sunday 3/21 that crowd is a bit rowdy even for me so we’ll skip the details that one

Garden City Easter Parade on (you guessed it) Easter

LongIslandCars.com says they’re setting up events and will be sending out dates in the near future

I think Empire Muscle is gonna start doing their thing on Jericho Tpke @ Wednesday evenings soon

Friend of a friend is running a food truck at the Bellmore LIRR @ night, i’m sure he’s anticipating the start of their cruise night

Saturday’s WF does a cruise night in queens playfully referred to as “Black Bellmore”...this the one u gonna tell your friends at work about on monday morning
