Doesn't take long to rattle can a fender ;-)

Looks really good. Can't know for sure until its outside and in the shade.

Raj, If you look at the before picture I used some white compound where the turn signal was and there's no sign of fading so it should match.

Bob also seam sealed around the headlight bucket and removed the old undercoat and painted the inside.

Replaced the fuel filter and hose by the transmission so this completes replacing all the fuel hose.

I decided to crank it to get some oil press so when I get fresh gas, I can get it running. The battery is done even though i have it on a Battery Tender. I "think" the battery is really old since I have no record of replacing it since I rebuilt the car but I can't imagine it's 20 years old.

Got a more powerful battery from Tony @ GT. When from a Group 42 (500CCA) to a Group 47 (650CCA). It's a bit taller but fits.

Ran over the the Sunoco station and got 4 gallons for 93 octane. Gave it a few cranks to get oil pressure. A few more to get the gas from the tank through the filter and fill the bowls.... and it started.

Runs rough, but that's to be expected since the carbs were rebuilt and need to be adjusted.

Gotta admit the paint looks nice for being 21 years old and not washed in 2 years.

Gonna give it some "love" when it comes hold. A nice soapy warm wash, strip the old wax, another wash and a fresh coat of carnauba wax.
