ok, lets try this with better sized pics.
First off, I'm going to buy these:
Perfect '64 heater channels from Cali, this will be used for the bottom plates, and to repair the couple of front and rear sections of heater channel, and the front "firewall" area (by your feet).
Ordering these:

$8, from WolfsburgWest...carpet securing channels. Welds on the heater channels where the door opens. My car has none for some reason. I'm in love with the single-sided spot welder at the bodyshop. Creates factory looking spot welds in 1/2 a second, literally. These will go in on minutes

Here's a pic of the front apron seal retaining strip from Wolfsburg west we put on using the spot welder:

There were about 6 random holes drilled in the dash. Think someone was using non oval switches/ignition at some point.
We used a piece of copper plate on the back side, while welding on the other side. The weld does not stick to the copper and allows for easy "Shaving". Metal finished with some cookie discs and flap disc grinders.

One of the holes that was plugged...and notice the radio opening is not factory. We fix that next using a donor dash I got with the car.

Marked out for cutting

Tacking it in

The spare tire well got straightened a tad with a hammer and dolly, and we coated it with body panel adhesive used to literally glue panels to modern cars. There were a bunch of tiny pin holes in it, but it was otherwise solid as a rock. Couldnt justify cutting it up. So we smearerd this on heavy, will take 48 hours to cure, then it will get sanded smooth. The final product is as strong as metal. If you were to pour a bunch into a cup and let it cure, you can actually drill and tap the stuff.

So now I'm awaiting the heater channels to continue our work. Not much left other than that - other than installing the rear H apron.
