Hello all,
My name is Barney, I met some of you at a few VW meets. I contact Raj now and then. I have a 74 Super beetle that needs restore, but with 2 kids in college, its a challenge. Does the club meet regularly? I am starting to restore my bug and would like to get more into the hobby.
Thanks
Barney

Hey Barney... how are you?

We meet the 2nd wed of every month at Dave and Busters on Rt 110 in farmingdale... and then the 4th wed of every month at another location that varies month to month. BC of the ' blizzard, last week, we canceled the meeting and are meeting this wed at Dave and Busters. Can you come down?

Any pics of the 74? Is she on the road?

Hi Barney:

Glad to see you looking to get some work done on your '74. Same year as mine but not a SB. Meetings are a great way to see what everyone is working on. Hope you can join us soon.

Barney... been there, done that. One done and my son is in his 2nd year.

This is a hobby, so do it in your spare time and the more you do the less you have to pay someone else.

The "Gruppe" has members that have done just about everything so ask for help and you'll get it.

welcome JB. Its nice to have friends in other locations, just in case. If you ever see something of interest by us, let us know, we can check it out. But be warned, Cali has drier old VWs than NY, so you might be doing most the leg work in this relationship.... lol.

Enjoy the forum.
